The very first festival was held July 2-5, 1986 and since its debut year it has grown to be a nationally recognized festival with attendees traveling from Canada and France. Festival International de Louisiane lives by its mission, to enrich and educate the community about the arts and their native culture.
For festival goers the countdown has begun and the festivities kick off Wednesday evening at 6:30 with Horace Trahan & the Ossun Express followed by Lil Nathan & the Zydeco Big Timers at Scene Malibu.
